Your Objects & privacy
Where they’re kept
Your Objects are kept in this browser, on this device. There’s no account.
Another browser, or .obj opened inside TikTok or Instagram, has its own separate Yours.
In a private tab, the browser may erase your Objects when the tab closes. Save a backup first.
Backups
Settings › Backup › Make a copy saves all your Objects as one ZIP file.
To bring it to another browser or device, open .obj there and choose that same ZIP in Settings › Restore from backup. No need to unzip it.
Restoring adds the Objects that are missing. The ones already there stay as they are.
Privacy
Every Object starts private. It appears on WORLD only after you set it to Public.
Set it back to Private and it’s taken off WORLD, usually within a minute. That can’t undo screenshots or copies someone may already have made.
Keep a backup
If this browser’s data is cleared, or you lose access to this browser, Objects without a backup can be lost. Some browsers also clear a site’s data if it hasn’t been opened for a while.
Your backup holds your photos, so keep it somewhere you trust.
Tips will show again as you use .obj, including the question before an Object is made public.
Profile
Your public page shows only the Objects you make public. Everything else stays on this phone.
A profile is your page in WORLD, at obj…/@yourname.
Visitors see your username, bio, picture, your public Objects and the collections they’re in.
They never see private Objects, photos, notes or value.
Collections
Group your public Objects. Visitors see collections with public Objects in them; private Objects never show.
On any public Object’s page, choose Add to collection.

Recovery code
Write it down or keep it in your password manager. It’s shown only once, and works once: it signs you in if you lose your email and your devices.
